Product Name: ACSS Conductor
Application: Without changing the tower and pole positions of the existed transmission lines, ACSS provides a good solution to enlarging the capacity by reducing the conductors’ resistivity and improving its operating temperature. Besides the reconstruction of the existed transmission lines, ACSS can also be used in the new lines. It’s high rated tensile strength and low sag make the larger span of the transmission line possible, which can reduce the cost and save the land dramatically.
Construction: Inner is galvanized steel wire,outer is soft aluminum wire.
Standards: ASTM B 857,EN 50540
Advantages: High Strength, Low Sag & Small Linear Expansion Coefficient, using super-high strength steel core, ACSS/TW has a much higher strength than traditional ACSR Conductor, which makes it possible to reduce the construction cost by reducing the height & number of towers;High Conductivity & Capacity,with the same sectional area, ACSS/TW has higher conductivity by using the soft-drawn aluminum as its conductor.
